The Unknown Cove  

Its 2.00am on the 25th of April 1915.  I’m sitting on the landing boat.  It’s pitch black.  I can only see my own gun and my friend next to me.

It’s so cold that I wanted to have a nice hot bath.  I wished I had changed my mind of joining the army. I realized it was so scary.  I stupidly thought that it was an adventure

but it wasn't.  

I told my friend to duck down as far as he could.  So we don’t get shot.  The waves were splashing on me. I was getting really wet.  I hoped the surprise was worth it.

As we were getting closer I saw a little spark on one of the bigger boats.  Somehow the Turkish soldiers saw the little spark too.  They  started to shoot at our soldiers.   Soldiers were dying so fast.   In a blink of an eye three died next to me.

My friend got shot in the head.  He was pouring out of blood.  We started to fight back.  As the Turkish soldiers started to move back our soldiers started to move forward.  We stayed at the bottom of the hill ducking down.  i stood up to see if i could shoot someone but I got shot in the arm.   I knew that was my last moment.

Reflection 

I am learning to write a recount.

I think i did good at my words and my paragraphs.
I need to work on my capital letters and my full stops.

My next step is to put full stops and capital letters in my writing by myself.
